OURIKA VALLEY

The Ourika valley stretches about twenty miles winding through the foothills of the High Atlas where traditional houses, rooted in the earth, mingle with the clay slopes. The road plunges along the Oued Ourika where water is abundant throughout the year. Lined with vegetable crops and orchards, long shady meadows invite you to relax. The road ends in the village of Setti Fatma, at 1500m altitude, the village collected in the hollow of towering slopes of the Atlas.
